All Government-Sponsored International Students should have a bank account at Japan Post Bank in principal. You can open the account at the small post office in University Hospital.

If you open an account at the post office in the University Hospital, please follow the steps below: 

1. Notify the post office in advance that an international student will open an account.
2. Obtain an account opening application form in advance and fill out the form.
3. Visit the office at the date and time specified in advance and carry out the procedure.

What to bring: Passport, Residence Card, Application, Name Stamp, ID and Health Insurance Card

*If you open an account outside the campus, we recommend that you complete the procedure at the same time as visiting the municipal office.
