Application Period

From 3 month before to the expiration date of your current period of stay (for ones whose period of stay is more than 6 months)

Procedure

1. Submit all the required application documents to the International Center.
2. The Center will check them and fill in the items for the institutions to fill in in the form, and then you will receive them.
3. Take them to Osaka Regional Immigration Services Bureau Otsu Branch Office.

4. Certificate of enrollment, Academic transcript
5. Certificate of ability to provide economic support (certificate of scholarship, a copy of bankbook etc.)

[Extension of Status of Cultural Activities]

5. Documents or certificates that prove your activity, duration, etc.
6. Certificate of ability to provide economic support (certificate of scholarship, a copy of bankbook etc.)

[Extension of Status of Professor]

1. Application form for extension of period of stay

4. Residence card
5. Documents or certificates issued by the host institution proving your activity, duration, position, compensation etc., such as a certificate of employment
